The Tree Knows When to Let Go

ree

A tree doesn’t fear winter.

It doesn’t cling to summer’s warmth or resist the falling leaves.

It lets go when it’s time

and trusts that spring will come again.

There’s no panic in its shedding.

No doubt in its stillness.

The tree understands the rhythm of life:

that letting go is not the end but part of becoming.

It doesn’t force its growth.

It doesn’t rush its blooming.

It allows each season to shape it

weathering the cold, soaking in the sun, and resting when the time calls.

The tree teaches us to release with grace.

To stop gripping what has already served its purpose.

To soften into change rather than fear it.

To remember that what’s meant to return will return when it’s ready.

Its strength lies not in resistance

but in trust.

We, too, are part of this rhythm.

Like the tree,

we are allowed to rest.

Allowed to shed.

Allowed to be bare for a while

and still worthy, still alive, still becoming.

Let the tree remind you:

You don’t have to cling.

You don’t have to know what’s next.

You can trust the seasons within you.
